Is i-Ready USA down?
Current i-Ready USA status is UP

We are aware of an issue with Chromebook LTS, version 120.0.6099.312 that is causing users to be unable to access the i-Ready platform. Users encountering this issue may see error messages like "Aw Snap" "Can't open this page" or "Error code: SIGSEGV". Our investigation has determined that this is related to the following Chrome defect:

Our development team is actively investigating the problem to see if there are any potential workarounds. In the meantime, we recommend the following:

1. Update to v124 of ChromeOS. This issue does not happen in that release.
2. If Chromebooks have not yet updated to 120.0.6099.312, work with your district's IT staff to disable auto-updates. Directions on how to do so can be found here: https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/3168106
3. Use an alternative device.

Due to an issue with overnight updates, any diagnostic changes (including assignments, starts, completions, etc) will not be reflected within the diagnostic reports for the day of Monday May 27th. On the reports, examples of what educators may be seeing includes the following (not exhaustive):

• Students who completed diagnostics will show a 100% completion of the assessment, but a status of "In Progress"
• Students who were assigned an diagnostic on May 27th, will still show "unassigned" on the reports

There is no impact on student performance or progression. Students who complete assigned assessments at this time will see no change in interface, allowing them to continue on their respective learning paths as expected. Educators should not reassign diagnostics for students today, May 28th. This issue is expected to be resolved overnight, and reports should be operating per usual tomorrow, May 29th. Changes that have occurred since 4am ET on May 27th will be captured in the overnight refresh, and display correctly on May 29th.

We are currently experiencing issues with i-Ready instruction. The i-Ready team is actively working on this problem and we expect that it will be resolved shortly.
